   Thank you for posting your message. I appreciated the way you presented the truths from Daniel. I love your daughter’s 5th rule. It would be interesting to trace all the thinking in her mind that resulted in the 5th rule. Obviously a very sharpe child who takes after her parents.

   I spoke at the Free Methodist Church in Belleville using the same lectionary theme — Christ the King. My approach was different in that I used several of the scriptures so I did not provide the depth you provided by focusing on Daniel. I liked your approach.

   • Thanks, Peter. I think Moira’s rule was partly cheeky, but mostly sincere. She’d learned that God was really in charge, so she wanted to add that to the rules. She’s the kind of person who has to get things right, and is not shy about challenging her parents when she thinks they need correction!
