That’s awesome. Where is it?
In Quebec just before you cross over into NB
Oh yeah! This is always a good moment for me because I know I’m almost at home in New Brunswick. I never thought much of the name actually . . . what does Wikipedia say, “The Commission de toponymie asserts that the parish’s name refers to nearby Lake Témiscouata, the sense of haha here being an archaic French word for an unexpected obstacle or abruptly ending path, see ha-ha. The Louis may refer to Louis Marquis, one of the first colonists of the region, or Louis-Antoine Proulx, vicar of Rivière-du-Loup, or perhaps the abbot Louis-Nicolas Bernier.” Yeah . . . I don’t know that that really clears things up!
i wonder what the real story is? Funny how people could lose track of something like that. I found another “ha ha” place in NB, down by Fundy. I’m going to put that one up soon!
